Garden Design
& Planning
A productive garden doesn't start with plants — it starts with a plan matched to your specific conditions, goals, and growing calendar. Our design process begins with a full site assessment and ends with a document you can use as a reference for years of growing.
We design for food production first: crop rotation sequences, succession planting schedules, and companion planting layouts built around Seattle's specific pest pressures and microclimate zones.
Raised Bed
Construction
We build raised beds to last 15+ years using clear-heart cedar or Douglas fir — both naturally rot-resistant and safe for food production. Every build includes site leveling, hardware cloth lining to exclude burrowing pests, and our layered soil build that creates a functioning soil food web from the first season.
Soil
Restoration
Depleted soil is the most common cause of underperforming gardens — and the most fixable. Our soil restoration program begins with laboratory analysis and ends with a biological amendment schedule that rebuilds your soil's native fertility and structure over one to two growing seasons.
We address compaction, drainage, pH imbalance, organic matter deficit, and biological depletion simultaneously — because these problems compound each other and need integrated treatment.
Seasonal
Care Plans
Monthly or bi-weekly visits from your dedicated SoilSage grower covering planting, succession seeding, pruning, pest monitoring, feeding, and harvest. Every visit includes a written report documenting what was observed and done. You always know what's happening in your garden and why.
Grower
Coaching
For experienced gardeners who want to grow better, not just be told what to do. Coaching sessions are 90 minutes, held in your garden, focused on your specific questions and challenges. You leave with a written action plan and direct access to your SoilSage coach for follow-up questions.
Commercial

Restaurant farm-to-table programs, school garden education programs, and office campus growing installations. We design, build, and manage commercial food growing systems with the documentation standards that institutional clients require.

Fixed monthly plans for ongoing garden maintenance. Design, construction, and soil restoration services are quoted individually after site assessment.
Plan pricing applies to residential gardens up to 400 sq ft. Larger gardens and all commercial programs receive custom quotes. All prices confirmed in writing before work begins. Results vary by soil conditions, plant selection, seasonal weather, and maintenance compliance.
