Soil Sage LLC designs, builds, and maintains productive home gardens across Colorado. Science-backed growing programs rooted in soil health, seasonal intelligence, and genuine craft.
Built on Science.
Grown with Care.
Most gardening services focus on aesthetics. We focus on biology. Every SoilSage program begins with a soil assessment, because productive gardens start underground — not at the garden center.
We work with a small number of clients at a time, capping new project starts each season so our team has the attention to do the work properly. Our growers carry professional certification and genuine enthusiasm for the craft.
Every recommendation we make is backed by horticultural research or years of observed field outcomes. We don't repeat gardening myths — we test and verify.
A productive garden is impossible without living, healthy soil. We spend more time and attention on what's underground than most gardening services spend on the whole project.
Every visit produces a written record — what was observed, what was done, what's recommended next. You always have a clear picture of your garden's trajectory.

We design a planting plan matched to your space, your goals, and the Pacific Northwest growing calendar. Crop selection, spacing, succession planting schedule, and companion planting integrated into a single visual document you can use for years.

Ongoing care visits keep your garden producing through every season. Written visit reports document everything observed and done. At first harvest, we walk through what worked, what to adjust, and your plan for the following season.

What Colorado Growers
Say About Soil Sage
Results vary. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of identical outcomes.
"Before SoilSage, our raised beds produced about half of what I expected. They did a soil test on our first visit and found our pH was nearly a point off and we were severely deficient in magnesium. After their soil restoration program, our tomato and pepper yields more than doubled in the following season."
"We had a 400 sq ft side yard that was completely unproductive clay. SoilSage built three raised beds, installed a drip system, and had us harvesting lettuce and radishes within six weeks of their first visit. By August we had more tomatoes than we could process — ended up donating two boxes to our food bank."
"I've been gardening for 20 years and still learned things in my first coaching session. The companion planting map they made for my beds reduced the aphid pressure on my brassicas significantly — I went from 3–4 spray interventions per season to one. The written visit reports are also genuinely useful."
